General Meeting - 5/22/2023

Our May meeting's Audio/Visual recording ended up being pretty poor because of some technical difficulties.  However, we discussed Park Projects as well as updates from SLACO & our State House of Representatives.

General Meeting - 4/24/2023

Our April meeting consisted of an update from Joe Vollmer as well as a Crime & Safety Report; we also discussed NNN Bylaws & Tilles Park Projects.  Our speaker was Matthew Brummund, Commissioner of the Civilian Oversight Board (COB).

Meet at Buder Library (4401 Hampton Ave) - 6-9pm

Members meet for a planning session on the second Monday of the month.  This is when we go over general agenda items for the upcoming meetings and how we want to grow the group.  Everyone is welcome, but please send us a message in chat so we can plan for the additional neighbors in the meeting room.

 Tilles Park is all about nicely landscaped areas, clean spaces and outdoor physical activities including playgrounds, a roller hockey rink, 3 soccer fields, a soccer kick board, 3 softball/baseball fields, a basketball/volleyball court, 2 racquetball courts, 3 tennis courts, picnic pavilion, an exercise station and walking path.

 The Second District includes the neighborhoods of Botanical Gardens, Cheltenham, Clayton/Tamm, Clifton Heights, Ellendale, Forest Park, Forest Park Southeast, Franz Park, Hi-Point, Kings Oak, Lindenwood Park, McRee Town, North Hampton, Shaw, Southwest Garden, St. Louis Hills, The Hill, Tiffany, Tower Grove Park, Tower Grove South, Wilmore Park, Wydown/Skinker and portions of South Hampton.

Business Districts

Northampton is surrounded by business districts to the east, south, and west. To the east along Kingshighway, you can find restaurants and coffee shops.  The southwest corner is a part of the Hampton village shopping center that anchors the community with a wide variety of businesses.  To the west along Hampton Avenue you can find an eclectic collection of shops.
